Audio Story
For my audio story I am asking HPU students how greek life had has a positive influence on their college experience. I am planning on asking students of different grade levels whom are involved in greek life to get my answer and here their stories!
I have thought a lot about who the best person to interview as my "expert" should be. So far, I have concluded the best people should be either a chapter president, an adult in charge of the greek life organization at HPU, or a psychology professor who can explain to me how greek life can better an individuals college experience.
My first interview is of my friend Anna who is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta on campus. She is a freshman and explains her experience with greek life thus far.
Music
Overall, I want my music to provide a easy going and happy feel. For my music I plan to incorporate these in an introduction, for transitions, as well as for a closing. I plan to use different parts of each audio to do this. I chose both of these pop music tracks because they are both upbeat and fun! The music is also uplifting and easy going, they go along well with my fun and positive topic.
#1Foley
#2
Coming up with an idea for a foley was actually much harder than I anticipated it to be! I decided that a possibly foley for my audio can be the sound of bubbles. I decided that this would work well with my topic because it's easy going and not distracting. To create this foley I had a cup filled with water and I used a straw to blow bubbles into it. This sound replicated pops and crackles.
